The Giant Lizard was one of the many strange creatures living on Farou Island, in the 1962 crossover film King Kong vs. Godzilla. One such Lizard attacks a small set of expeditioners that were in search of Kong. They immediately retaliate by knocking it off a cliff and shoot it. But almost immediately after killing the Lizard, the King awakens.
