During the gremlin rampage of Kingston Falls, the gremlins stop off in Dorry's Tavern, whilst the gremlins get up to all sorts of mischief. Several of them sit up at the bar, drinking beer and smoking many cigarettes. When one of the gremlins demanded that Kate light their cigarettes, she strikes a match and attempts to light the cigarette, but the gremlin recoils back in fear of the light, giving Kate the idea and opportunity to escape.
