A kroton
The Krotons are a race of crystalline creatures which need metal suits, and a strange liquid to thrive. Although they are biologically immortal. They travel on strange ships called dynotrope, but can slowly killed by impure sulphuric acid, they prefer dark environments, and cant see very well in bright light.
