The Mutants were one of the many monsters held by the Organization. They were once humans that were somehow mutated into zombie-like beings. It is presumed that they were summoned when somebody tampered with a case containing a gas mask and some chemical vials. They could also spread the infections onto other people as several mutants in different clothing are seen around the facility. During the Purge, the Mutants are seen wandering the facility killing various scientists, Marty shoot one in the head. They are all killed when the Elder God awakens.
